Valcasado Solar Park in Huelva, Spain, equipped with 22MW of Trinasolar's Vertex modules and Vanguard 1P smart tracking systems, was commissioned recently.
The project has been developed and is owned by Green Tie Capital, and EPC is contracted by Elmya, featuring advanced solar technology including 33,600 Vertex modules and 580 Vanguard 1P trackers. After being connected to the grid the plant will deliver clean energy to the municipality of San Juan del Puerto.
The project site is located on relatively flat land, coupled with slight slopes of up to 15% north-south and 10% east-west, and the dry, cracked soil characteristic of the area makes the resilient infrastructure all the more important.
Trinasolar Vanguard 1P trackers are designed to be exceptionally adaptable to complex terrain to ensure system stability and reliability. The quick installation technology effectively cut time needed for installation and reduced labor costs. In addition, TrinaTracker has provided robust construction techniques and durable materials to withstand such arid conditions, ensuring that the solar park operates smoothly all year round.
